Safety First: Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker before starting installation.
Mount the Bracket: Secure the ceiling mounting bracket to a sturdy ceiling joist or support using the provided screws. Ensure the bracket can support at least 50 lbs (22.7 kg).
Hang the Fan Motor: Attach the fan motor to the mounting bracket, then connect the electrical wires according to the wiring diagram (black/red for power, white for neutral, green/yellow for ground).
Install Blades: Attach each blade to the motor housing using the blade screws. Tighten them securely to prevent wobbling.
Install the Light Kit: Attach the LED light fixture to the bottom of the motor. If applicable, install the decorative shade.
Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker to test the fan and light functions.
Control Options:
Wall Control: Use the wall switch to turn the fan/light on/off and adjust fan speeds.
Remote Control (if included): Use the remote to adjust fan speed (Low/Medium/High), turn the light on/off, or change light color temperature (warm/cool/daylight).
Adjust Fan Speed: Use the speed control setting to select your desired airflow. Lower speeds are quieter, while higher speeds provide stronger cooling.
Adjust Light Settings: If the light is dimmable or color-adjustable, use the remote or wall control to set your preferred brightness and color temperature.
Electrical Safety
Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installing, cleaning, or servicing the fan.
Ensure the electrical wiring is properly grounded and complies with local electrical codes.
Do not use the fan with solid-state speed controls or dimmer switches unless the fan is explicitly rated for such use.
Installation Safety
The fan must be mounted at least 7 feet (2.1 meters) above the floor to prevent accidental contact with moving blades.
Do not install the fan outdoors or in damp locations (bathrooms, saunas, etc.) unless it is rated for wet or damp locations.
Do not mount the fan on a sloped ceiling exceeding the maximum angle specified by the manufacturer.
Usage Safety
Keep hands, hair, clothing, and foreign objects at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the fan blades while operating.
Do not hang objects from the fan blades or motor housing.
If the fan wobbles excessively, makes unusual noise, or emits a burning smell, turn it off immediately and disconnect power.
Regular Cleaning:
Turn off the power before cleaning.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe the blades and motor housing. For stubborn dust, use a slightly damp cloth (never use water directly on the motor).
Clean the light shade with a mild glass cleaner to maintain brightness.
Preventative Maintenance:
Every 6 months, check and tighten all blade screws, mounting bracket screws, and light fixture connections to prevent loosening from vibration.
Inspect the fan for wobbling. If wobbling occurs, use a fan balancing kit (available at hardware stores) to adjust blade balance.
For quiet operation, the motor bearings are pre-lubricated and do not require additional oiling.
