Preparing the Unit

Remove the transparent lid and egg tray.
Measuring Water
Use the included measuring cup to add cold water to the heating plate in the base. Adjust the water level based on your desired doneness:
Soft-boiled eggs: Add the least amount of water (marked on the cup).
Tender/medium eggs: Add a moderate amount of water.
Fully cooked/hard-boiled eggs: Add the maximum amount of water.
Note: More eggs may require slightly more water to ensure even cooking.
Preparing the Eggs
Rinse the eggs under cold water (optional).
For best results, pierce the large end of each egg with the pin on the measuring cup. This prevents eggs from cracking during steaming.
Place the pierced eggs into the slots on the egg tray, ensuring they are stable and upright.
Starting the Cooker
Place the egg tray onto the base, then cover with the transparent lid.
Plug the cooker into a grounded wall outlet.
Turn the timer knob to select your desired cooking time (match with the water level for perfect results). The indicator light will turn on to show the cooker is heating.
Finishing the Cooking
When the timer reaches zero, the cooker will automatically shut off, and some models will emit a beep to alert you.
Unplug the unit immediately after cooking.
Use tongs or oven mitts to remove the hot eggs to avoid burns. For easier peeling, place eggs in cold water for 1-2 minutes after cooking.
Electrical Safety
Only use a properly grounded power outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
Never immerse the base, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
Unplug the cooker before cleaning, moving, or when not in use.
Stop using the cooker immediately if the power cord is damaged, or the unit shows signs of malfunction (sparks, strange smells).
Operational Safety
The lid and steam vent get very hot during use. Do not touch them with bare hands, and keep your face away from escaping steam to avoid burns.
Do not leave the cooker unattended while in use, especially around children and pets.
Do not place the cooker near flammable materials (curtains, paper, cloth) or on unstable surfaces.
Do not overfill the water reservoir, as boiling water may overflow and cause scalding.
Food Safety
Use fresh, refrigerated eggs. Do not cook cracked or spoiled eggs.
Consume cooked eggs immediately after cooling, or refrigerate them within 2 hours of cooking.
Wait for the unit to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) before cleaning.
Remove the lid, egg tray, and measuring cup. Wash them with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive scrubbers (e.g., steel wool) as they can scratch the surface.
Wipe the heating plate and the exterior of the base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water.
Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling or storing.
Mineral deposits from water can affect performance. To remove limescale:
Add 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water to the heating plate (fill to the maximum water level).
Run the cooker for 1-2 minutes, then turn it off and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Empty the solution, rinse the heating plate with water, and wipe it dry.
