Usage & Installation Instructions

1. Pre-Installation Preparation

• Choose a sturdy wall surface capable of supporting the fan’s weight and vibration.

• Confirm the wall is made of concrete, brick, or solid wood. Avoid mounting on drywall alone without proper reinforcement.

• Gather appropriate hardware: heavy-duty wall anchors, lag screws, and a level (included or separately purchased).

2. Mounting the Fan

1. Hold the mounting bracket against the wall at your desired height. Mark the screw hole locations with a pencil.

2. Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if needed. Secure the bracket to the wall using lag screws, ensuring it is level and tight.

3. Attach the fan motor assembly to the bracket, aligning the holes and tightening all bolts securely.

4. Double-check that the entire unit is stable and cannot move or wobble.

3. Electrical Connection

• If the fan comes with a power cord: Plug it into a grounded, properly rated outlet.

• If hardwiring is required: Turn off the main power supply, then connect the fan’s wires to the electrical circuit according to local codes. Have a licensed electrician perform this if you are unsure.

4. Operation

• Use the speed control switch (usually 3-speed: Low/Medium/High) to select your desired airflow.

• Adjust the fan’s tilt angle to direct airflow where you need it.

• For oscillating models, engage the oscillation function (if available) to distribute air across a wider area.

⚠️ Important Safety Notes

• Installation Safety

  • Always turn off the main power supply before installation, wiring, or maintenance.

  • Never mount the fan on a surface that cannot support its weight or vibration—this can cause the fan to fall.

  • Keep the fan at least 7 feet above the floor (if installed in a space where people walk) to prevent accidental contact.

• Usage Safety

  • Do not insert fingers, tools, or objects through the safety grille while the fan is running.

  • Keep loose clothing, hair, and debris away from the blades and grille.

  • Do not use the fan in damp or wet locations (e.g., bathrooms, outdoors in the rain) unless it is specifically rated for outdoor/IP-rated use.

  • Never leave the fan running unattended in areas where children or pets can reach it.

• Electrical Safety

  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the fan’s rated voltage.

  • Do not use the fan with a damaged power cord, plug, or switch. If damaged, stop use immediately.

  • Do not daisy-chain multiple fans on the same outlet—this can overload the circuit.

️ Cleaning & Maintenance

1. Regular Cleaning

   • Turn off and unplug the fan before cleaning.

   • Use a soft brush, vacuum with a brush attachment, or a dry cloth to remove dust from the grille, blades, and motor housing.

   • For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth (not dripping wet) to wipe the surface. Never spray water directly onto the motor or electrical components.

2. Bolt & Vibration Check

   • Every 3–6 months, inspect and retighten all mounting bolts, blade screws, and bracket hardware to prevent loosening from vibration.

3. Motor Care

   • Most industrial wall fans have sealed, permanently lubricated motors and do not require oiling. If your model requires oiling, follow the manufacturer’s instructions using the specified oil type.

   • Listen for unusual noises (grinding, rattling) during operation—these can indicate worn bearings or loose parts.
