Ⅰ. Usage Instructions

1. Install Batteries

Open the battery compartment on the bottom/rear of the trash can, insert 4 AA alkaline batteries following the “+ / –” polarity markings, then close the battery cover securely.

2. Auto Sensor Operation

An infrared sensor is built into the top control panel. When your hand or rubbish gets close to the sensor area, the lid automatically pops open instantly. After you discard waste and no movement is detected for several seconds, the lid will slowly close softly with damping buffer design.

3. Permanent Open Mode

Press and hold the button on the top control panel to keep the lid open for large-size garbage cleaning. Short-press the button again to switch back to automatic sensing mode.

4. Replace Trash Bag

Lift the entire lid unit away from the can body. Fit the garbage bag around the inner top rim of the bin, tuck excess bag edges under the upper fixing rim, then reinstall the lid back into place.

Ⅱ. Important Precautions

Battery Maintenance: Never mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Remove all batteries if the trash can will not be used for more than 30 days to avoid battery liquid leakage damaging internal circuits.
Sensor Protection: Always keep the infrared sensor window clean & dry; do not scratch, paste stickers or spill dirty water/residue on the sensor surface, which would cause sensing failure.
Environment Restriction: Designed for indoor use only. Avoid direct strong sunlight (strong light disturbs infrared induction). Keep away from high-temperature equipment like heaters or stoves to prevent plastic deformation and electronic damage. Do not place in locations with frequent water splashing.
Waste Rules: Do not pour boiling water or corrosive chemical liquids into the bin. Wrap sharp hard waste before disposal to prevent puncturing trash bags or scratching the lid.
Cleaning Tips: Wipe the can surface with a slightly damp soft cloth only. Do not soak or flush the whole trash can under running water to avoid short-circuiting the internal control board.
