Ⅰ. Usage Instructions

1. Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment at the bottom/back of the trash can, install 4×AA alkaline batteries (not included in package) following positive/negative polarity marks, then close the battery cover tightly.

2. Working Principle & Opening Operation

The built-in infrared motion sensor has a 12-inch (30cm) sensing range; when your hand/garbage is within the sensing zone above the lid, the lid automatically pops open in 0.3 seconds quickly.
Toss waste into the bin after the lid opens; the lid will automatically close slowly with soft-close damping design after several seconds of no detected movement.

3. Manual Open Mode (Optional)

Long press the control button on the top panel to keep the lid open permanently for large-volume garbage disposal; short press again to switch back to auto-sensing mode.

4. Trash Bag Replacement

Lift the whole lid assembly off the can body, fit the trash bag around the top inner rim, tuck excess bag edge under the bin’s top sealing strip, then reinstall the lid.

Ⅱ. Precautions

Battery Safety
Do not mix old and new batteries / different types of batteries; remove batteries if the can will not be used for over 30 days to avoid liquid leakage damaging internal circuits.
Sensor Protection
Keep the infrared sensor window clean and dry; do not scratch, paste stickers or splash water/garbage residue onto the sensor area, which will block signal induction.
Environment Limit

Indoor use only; avoid placing in direct strong sunlight (strong ultraviolet disturbs infrared sensing) or damp bathroom with long-term water splash.
Keep away from heating appliances (heater, stove), high temperature deforms plastic parts and damages electronic components.

Garbage Restriction
Do not pour boiling water, corrosive chemical waste into the bin; sharp hard trash shall be wrapped to prevent puncturing inner bucket and scratching lid.
Daily Cleaning
Wipe can surface with soft damp cloth; never rinse the whole bin directly under running water (water seepage causes short circuit of control board).

Lid opens and closes repeatedly abnormally

Move the bin away from reflective objects/mirror near sensing area; avoid airflow disturbance from fan/air conditioner

2. Repair Rules

Non-professional users are forbidden to disassemble the internal control circuit board and motor components privately; unauthorized disassembly voids product warranty.
If internal motor/circuit is damaged by water immersion or battery leakage, contact after-sales service for professional replacement instead of self-repair.
Wear parts (lid sealing strip, hinge rubber pad) can be purchased as spare parts from official store for user self-replacement.
