I. Instructions for Use

1. Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment on the back or bottom of the trash can, insert 4 pieces of AA alkaline batteries following the positive(+) and negative(-) polarity marks, then close the battery cover securely.

2. Auto Sensing Operation

This bin adopts infrared motion sensor design. When your hand or rubbish approaches the sensor area on the top, the lid will automatically open quickly within 0.3 seconds. After you put garbage in and no movement is detected for a few seconds, the lid will softly close automatically with built-in slow-close damping structure.

3. Permanent Open Mode

Press and hold the function button on the control panel to keep the lid open for a long time when disposing of bulky waste. Short press the button again to return to automatic sensing mode.

4. Replace Garbage Bag

Take off the entire top lid unit from the can body, wrap the trash bag around the inner top edge of the barrel, tuck excess bag rim under the top decorative sealing strip, then install the lid back in place.

II. Important Precautions

1. Battery Care: Never mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Remove all batteries if the product will be left unused for more than 30 days to avoid electrolyte leakage damaging internal electronic parts.

2. Sensor Protection: Keep the infrared sensor lens clean and dry; do not scratch, paste stickers or spill food residue/water on the sensing window, which will lead to sensing failure.

3. Usage Environment: Only for indoor use. Avoid direct strong sunlight, as intense light will interfere with infrared induction. Do not place beside high-temperature equipment such as stoves or heaters to prevent plastic deformation and circuit damage. Keep away from long-term splashing water in damp bathrooms.

4. Garbage Restrictions: Do not pour boiling water, corrosive chemical liquids into the bin. Wrap sharp hard waste before throwing in to prevent puncturing the liner and scratching the lid.

5. Cleaning Rules: Wipe the can surface with a slightly damp soft cloth only. Do not immerse or flush the whole product under running water to prevent short circuit of the built-in control board.

3. Long-term Storage Maintenance

Take out all batteries and fully clean the inside and outside of the trash can before long-time storage, store it in a cool dry place and avoid heavy extrusion.
