Usage Instructions

1. Before First Use

  • Unpack the ice maker and remove all packaging materials.

  • Place the unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area. Keep at least 10 cm of clearance around all sides for airflow.

  • Clean the interior water reservoir, ice basket, and ice scoop with warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

  • Plug the unit into a grounded outlet, and let it sit upright for 2 hours before use (to let the refrigerant settle).

2. Making Ice

  • Open the lid, remove the ice basket, and pour clean drinking water into the reservoir (do not exceed the MAX water level mark).

  • Replace the ice basket and close the lid.

  • Plug in the unit and press the power button to turn it on.

  • If your model offers it, select the desired ice size (small/large).

  • The freezing cycle will start. Ice cubes will drop into the basket in batches (typically 6–15 minutes per cycle).

  • The unit will stop automatically when the basket is full or water runs low. Add more water to continue production.

3. Using & Storing Ice

  • Use the included scoop to remove ice cubes.

  • For best quality, use ice immediately or store it in a freezer-safe container in the freezer. Melted water is recycled to make more ice automatically.

⚠️ Safety Precautions

Electrical Safety

  • Use only a properly grounded outlet matching the unit’s voltage rating. Do not use extension cords.

  • Never immerse the main body, power cord, or plug in water. Unplug before cleaning or servicing.

  • Stop use immediately if the cord is damaged, or if the unit emits strange noises, smoke, or odors.

Operational Safety

  • Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, heat sources (stoves/ovens), and flammable materials.

  • Do not block the air vents—blocked vents cause overheating and compressor damage.

  • Do not open the lid during the freezing cycle to avoid disrupting the process or touching moving parts.

  • Do not add non-water liquids (juice, soda) to the reservoir, as this will damage the system.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets; do not allow unsupervised use.

Water & Food Safety

  • Only use clean, potable water. Do not use non-potable water.

  • If storing the unit long-term, drain all water, clean the interior, and dry thoroughly to prevent mold.

  • Homemade ice is best used within 24 hours for freshness.

Maintenance & Repair

Regular Cleaning (every 2–4 weeks)

  1. Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.

  2. Drain remaining water using the drain plug (if equipped).

  3. Wash the ice basket, scoop, and interior walls with warm water + mild soap or a vinegar solution.

  4. Rinse thoroughly to remove residue, then wipe the exterior with a soft cloth.

  5. Leave the lid open to air-dry completely before use or storage.

Descaling (for mineral buildup)

If ice tastes/smells off or production slows:

  1. Mix 1 part white vinegar + 4 parts water, pour into the reservoir to the MAX level.

  2. Run one full ice cycle, then drain the solution.

  3. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly, then run 2–3 cycles with clean water to flush residue.
